Peter, having spent most of his working life abroad in the Middle East and Europe, now lives back home in Yorkshire, in the market town of Beverley surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds.
Starting as an art teacher in UK, he moved abroad to teach English as a foreign language. For many years he worked for BAE systems, teaching the Royal Saudi Air Force, and helped create their nationwide purpose-built language course. He received the BAE Systems Award for Innovation for his work as well as several citations from the RSAF. He worked in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War and in 1991 was given the Queen’s Gulf War Medal.
